    Great all rounder, but not for the serious rider

    First time on an eBike - have had the Sinch Mode 3 for 1 year now. Still use it regularly and love every minute of it. If you are keen to get out more, and perhaps explore some local trails - this is the bike for you. Depending on rider weight and how much uphill there is - you will get 2-4hrs battery life which is pretty good in my opinion - there are bikes now with bigger batteries and longer life - so depends on how long you intend to ride for.

    The downsides of this bike for the serious rider out there hitting the trails - the fork is no good. As you ride more, its like it heats up and overheats and gets stiffer and stiffer, to the point my wrists were hurting. Had it serviced twice by the local bike shop and didn't make a difference. I had to upgrade to an entry level Rock Shox fork and it made such a difference to the overall ride comfort and handling.

    The other thing that let this bike down is the suspension seatpost. At 100kg rider and gear weight, this thing had a up and down variance of 40mm which is no good for maintaining the ideal saddle height. I swapped it out for a non suspension dropper post and the difference was night and day.

    So 4 stars from me. Cost me about $600 to upgrade the bad bits and its a solid bike now.

    My first e-bike. Am really pleased that after only a couple of spins I am comfortable with the bike. Have had some fun trying it out and feeling more confident with the weight , the different modes and am finding the drop saddle very handy.
